Flight 99 Remix

I make music under the pseudonym name “moirésun”. I produced a remix of Please Wait’s track “Flight 99” featuring Masego, which was officially released via Berlin-based Jakarta Records and Perth-based label and creative collective 823.

Words by 823 - “Shortly yet decadently sweet, moirèsun's remix of the Ta-ku, matt mcwaters and Masego jam "Flight 99" is a journey in itself. Fitting for a track about flying, moirèsun put together his remix "during the height of the Covid lockdowns, daydreaming about getting away." Throwing sped-up hip-hop drums, syrupy bass, and airy synths over Masego's croons, moirèsun's rendition of "Flight 99" soars, with a smooth takeoff and landing to book-end the flight.”
